July 4, 2008
Since my graduation from college in the beautiful city of Louisville, I have had some great opportunities to travel and live in different cities. Throughout the past two years, I have begun building my own photography business and have collected some great photographs along the way. I realize how hard of a person I am to keep up with, I even have trouble myself, so I decided that a blog would be a great way to keep my clients and friends and family updated on my life and travels. I also want to share the art I make and photographs I take along the way! So here goes:

I just spent the month of May traveling Southern Europe and the Middle East with my Grandma and a few cousins. We traveled to Italy, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, and Sicily. The trip was a trip of a lifetime and I was able to shoot all day every day allowing myself to capture a few great shots. Over the next few posts, I will high light some of the places I visited. For now, here are my most favorite shots I took while in Alexandria Egypt:

We spent most of our touring in Alexandria through the market place. We were able to see the ancient library, or what was left of it (one of the seven wonders) along with the new library that was built.  I couldn’t have looked more like a tourist walking around with my camera glued to my face, but it was worth it. The way of life in this country was something so unfamiliar for me and something I have never seen before. It was so different from any American or European place I have ever been, making Egypt all the more intriguing. It is so easy to get wrapped in in the way of life that is what we are used to only to realize that their are whole other worlds out there that live completely different but are just as human as you and me. It was fascinating. Here are a few more shots I took while wandering around the Egyptian market place:
