LIGHTBOMBER!

Ladies and Gents…..my partner Ryan and I over at MRI Lightpainting have been working our butts off for over the past year with our amazing developers at Nascent to create the best new IPhone App out there.

And really, it is. Gizmodo even says so! We just launched our App just barely a week ago and were waiting to do a proper release, and well here we go!

APP OF THE DAY!!!!

Our App will allow you to capture light trails and create lightpaintings and share with a whole community (Think Instagram for night time!). Spend some time with our app and get to know it! Download at ITunes here:

Sarah + Darin Wedding

Sarah’s parents have been the best friends of my parents for several years now, so being asked to be such an important part of their wedding day made me feel so special. I’ve know Sarah for years but it was my first time meeting Darin and seeing them together, and I have to say, they were one of the cutest most fun loving couples. I wish them all the very best!

Corey + Danielle Wedding

I’ve known Danielle and her family for years, so being asked to photograph her wedding was a huge honor. I got to spend the day with some of the best people I’ve ever met, including one of my oldest and best friends her brother Patrick,  and capture some really beautiful moments. I can’t express how much I adore Danielle’s family and am so happy about the new life and family her and Corey will be starting. They are hands down, one of the sweetest couples I know.

Southern Girls

Gabrielle hails from my home state Kentucky, which makes her one of my most favorite people by default! She is the roommate and best pal of this gal and I was more than psyched to get to shoot with her this summer. She is an aspiring actress, and with her beauty and undeniably sweet energy, she’s going somewhere for sure.

 

The Finer Things

I actually shot these last year for a good pal of mine, Chelsea, and never had the chance to post. This girl is not only a beauty, she’s super cool too….enjoying all the finer things in life, right along with me: milkshakes, cupcakes, Bon Iver, puppies, sunshine, and last but most importantly mac n cheese.

Cara and George- A British Wedding

Recently back a few weeks ago from a European adventure…

Spent the first half of my trip in the beautiful country outside of London, spending time with Cara and George, documenting their wedding day. Both of their families were so welcoming and the whole wedding was one of the most beautiful ones I’ve ever been able to be a part of. Cara and George were absolutely delightful and one of the most easy going couples I know. We had a blast hanging out all day and shooting. We even got to throw in some lightpainting!  And  I must say, outside of London lies some of the most gorgeous country side. Enjoy some of the highlights:

Secret’s Out!

Us here at MRI Lightpainting can FINALLY reveal the big secret project we were working on last month! Please spread the love and support MRI! We’re doing great things and have even more secret amazing projects coming up soon!

“Yes! So we can finally talk about this because it is now public.  A while back we alluded to being uber-busy working on a super secret project.  Well, the super secret project was an international print ad for Arm & Hammer’s GloBrush, an LED toothbrush that lights up and switches colors when kids are supposed to switch sides while brushing.

This was a major project for us and we had a blast working on it, applying our own flavor to a creative direction.  We worked with a great agency on the project, and just this weekend we found the ad in magazines.  We did the product shot, product retouching, the light trails, and the main light writing in the ad, and we think it came out great.  Thanks to everyone who set this up, and to our buddy Charles for some clutch support.  That’s not all though, there is another look on the way, but we can’t show you yet.
